I am now collecting these miniature cars from Shell! For every purchase of PHP 500 you can buy 1 car for PHP 80! I need to collect all 10! and what's nice and geng about this car is that it has the actual sound of a ferrari car! Amazingness!!!

The Conscious Diet

I am getting conscious of my diet!  I will have to give up on junk foods and chips for now. 

But for fast food... nope not yet coz I still need my food to be fast to work for my schedule.  So now, I should not eat chips.

Dinner time and I was really tired by now.  We went to buy food for takeout in SNR and see what I got:

1 slice of pepperoni pizza (my favorite) 99 PHP

1 clam chowder 79 PHP

1 bavarian burrito (though I regret I bought this, I should have bought the longer cinnamon one) 39 PHP

Now I Know Why

The feeling of relief when you are released of something would be much greater if you go back to the place you once were and truthfully confirm to yourself that that place is absolutely horrible.

Do I make sense to you? Of course I don't… :P Not if you're "half-autistic" like me, or just plainly weird. XD

Philippine Airlines Promo for 2009

Philippine Airlines should get a better server. They announced that they will be having promo sales (like super discounted sales like OMG super cheap flights like you can go to Singapore all in for like 3k) starting April 27, 2009 which is now… and for 2 days only... CRAZY!

But me and my friend are attempting to book a ticket and voila!

It has been like this since 12 am and it's crazy. It's as if there's no recession and people are travelling everywhere!

So, I just hope they had a better server :/

I went to the office this morning to do my documentation supposedly, but I ended up editing my Boracay pictures! So I had to go home with a really painful eye strain.

I watched the formula 1 and Ferarri got their first 3 points this year finally.

Anyway, I must retire to sleep now because my eyes are really killing me. CIAOZZ!

The smokecist in me is back :/

Health, is perfect (to most) in the beginning... You just need to maintain your body and feed it with the nutrients it needs, before it becomes a wreck... Let's say for example a car who was wrecked because of an accident. How much does it cost to repair? Much more! Same as our bodies, if you get sick let's say a lung cancer perhaps... you have done all of the smoking in the world thinking you would not get sick... Then in the end, your lungs were a total wreck... now, expensive is it... right? However, if you just refrain from smoking, it would not cost a cent! Now what are all of the "government warning on smoking?" People pretend to be blind to see it :/ Is smoking that such a good feeling that you are willing to risk that someday you might have cancer? Actually you would be guaranteed to have filthy lungs! Now, you wanna wreck your body just like that? Let's just say, you have all the money in the world. You smoke and you can afford to pay hospital bills when you get ill because of that... are you also willing to feel the pain? and the process of healing you??? I have seen a lot of House M.D. episodes and thought most lives can be saved, but some organs would technically have been half damaged already...
Sigh sigh sigh...

Also, think of the ones who love you... My father died of lung cancer because he was a super duper chain smoker... Too bad I only had to spend 3 years of my childhood with him... I don't even have a solid memory of him. The only memory I had of him was in a dream... :( Think twice before you smoke now... If you want to live longer and see your kids grow, stop now :( minimize... then quit...

I think the biggest challenge to smokers quitting is the peer pressure still. Your collegues or friends might drop by your work area and say "Yosi tayo." Then you're like.. ok... In parties, where your friends are all smoking, you would still feel odd or left out that you don't smoke... so instead of quitting, the temptation to puff is even so much greater...

I don't believe it's a hard thing to do... I started to smoke once... then I quit after 2 months... I never really liked it... I just did it because I was depressed, upset and peer pressure... but it never really did me good... While I was quitting, that was the biggest challenge for me... like people asking me "yosi tayo" or offering me "yosi" when we're hanging out with drinks... But I was firmly saying "no"... It wasn't that hard...


With smoking, I am done now...

P.S. If in heaven, they still read blogs, will my father read this?

Why health is important in a relationship

*notes before you read: I'm not a sexist but I'm writing mostly in my point-of-view. Replace the "he" with a "she" or vice versa whichever you can relate on. I don't want to fill my blog full of "he/she" all the time so read as you may...

It's the weekend and it's the only chance you could get to be with your loved one... But where is he? He's sick! I know you should not take it against him, in fact you should take pitty on him. But most weekends he is just always feeling ill perhaps last weekend he had stomach flu, this weekend he had a fever!

He's not faking coz he obviously looks sick and his temprature is really high, so you could not get mad at him for that!!!

However, it is slightly his fault as well! He did not take care of himself that much, so he could not take care of you! You however 'coz you love him, wouldn't mind taking care of him because you love him. In fact you will do this because you know that someday you're gonna be the one who will be sick someday.

So, as much as possible... Take extra care for your health... so that you can take care of the ones that you love...

Only in the weekdays can you two be together, but still you're sick and lying there... Now who's fault is it? I'm not playing the blaming game, it's just that... when it comes to health... never be too lazy!

Microsoft Office Word 2007 and Blogging Feature

Couldn't blogging get any more convenient?

I am using MS Word to blog just right about now and see if this feature totally rocks my socks :P I'm the kind of blogger that blogs on-the-go and I blog whenever I feel it… So, if I'm at the top of the mountain and I have this urge to blog – I COULD (as long as there is a cellphone signal for any of my 3 phone service providers - sun, globe and smart) I will be good to blog on-the-go. I have set up my GPRS settings for the three of them and I could just send an MMS to my blogger mail's posting and then voia-la! New blog post ASAP!

I wish I could do this in my wordpress blog… This somehow is not that user-friendly and I don't know how to set it up to post through mail or MMS.

Anyway, I'm just setting this up because I'm using my office laptop all of the time. Blogging on the Blogger's interface could get me a memo since it is obvious that I am typing on a website (and that's supposedly a no-no!). Typing through MS Word however is less suspicious haha!

So, if you are reading this, then my MS Word to blogger is super working fine!

Whalao... my day kena hijacked.

I slept at 3am and woke up at 9. I had to be early because our training starts early. A little bit of sunshine finally for our UK counterparts =) they were looking forward to the sunshine but they were dissappointed to find out that the view outside our building looks same-same with London. In short, they want sun and not monsoon.

Tiring and struggle-y day. Evem Cisqo got some colds...

Nevertheless, me and my workmates went out to dinner with two of our bosses. They wanted to experience Seafood Dampa market and restaurant :)

Crazy day

Yesterday, I bought contact lenses and pasalubong to our counterparts in the UK. Tiring coz I slept really2X late and I had to wake up early for this.

Btw, we toured them to embassy and i felt quite really old beside these youngster socialites. Here I found out that English men are just really sweet, kind and gemtleman. More post about this tomorrow :D

Vaccine Fever

I'm feeling kinda hawt today.. **Roar**

Not that kind of hot silly! I'm having a slight fever-ish kinda thing going on due to the flu vaccine I had yesterday. I had back pains as well coz I had to sleep on my right for the rest of the night!

Will be expecting another busy day today, but it's gonna be weekend soon after all.

I'm planning on booking a hotel for tomorrow coz I'm just not comfy here in my own house with some of the visitors we have here now... UGH! >.<

Too much Thursday

I had myself vaccinated for flue today and had my shot on my left arm.

We went out to dine at Chef Laudico at Net Square center, fort bonifacio, taguig. We had the dimsum appetizers, CPA (Chiken-pork-adobo), seafood platter and I had melon shake for drinks. Sorry, no food pic though coz we dined with our business partners.

We transferred to cuisine. I had my usual strawberry vodka cherry and for my 2nd round, I had Kahlua and cream again... :P surprisingly i did not get tipsy that fast, actually... No tipsieness at all. It was a bit strange if you come to think of it... I was supposed to feel a bit dizzy already even on my first round... But I didn't even turn red... At all!!! Is it because of the vaccine? I'm no doctor or scientist so I can't answer that question on my own.

I have to sleep now... Flat or on my right... Coz I can't sleep on my left for now (see above). It's a bit difficult now in my part because I am actually having my period now. Ciaoz!

Flu Vaccination

Yes,

Today I had another shot of the Flu Vaccine thingy...  I used to be such a baby and I used to be afraid of needles.  Now, I have grown up :P

My previous vaccine shot was around November 2007.  I had a slight fever after that shot because they vaccines actually have some dead cells of the virus or weak virus and put it into your bloodstream so that your White blood cells would combat it and destroy it.  The next time this virus comes into your system (even a strong one), would alert your WBCs that this is a familiar enemy and your immune system would not have much of a problem beating it...

Since then, until now, I don't believe I had a flu at all... *wink* *wink*

So, go get yourselves vaccinated already!  This would prevent future trips to the doctor :P

The Best of Me an my Asian Flush

Spent the weekend at la luz batangas!

It was a nice trip but I got drunk at night because I drank my strawberry vodka at a fast pace and this really got the worst out of my alcohol intollerance... Unlike alcohol allergy, I can't be immune to alcohol... Intollerance to it means I lack the enzyme to convert the alcohol into something non-toxic to the body like vinegar...

So, in my case, my body had to let it out in a very bad way.

1. Through my pores - which makes my skin really red and bloated like a balloon.
2. I pee a lot so that it directly goes out of my system.
3. I had to vomit to let it out fast…

The third option is usually the fast-relief way and I did that with me fully conscious and aware how to take care of myself when drunk… While other people see it as a messy maneuver…

Anyway… that’s me and my asian flush…

No matter how many I drink successively, I would never be immune to it… Unless I would have that enzyme you lucky people have… CIAOZ!!!

Easter egg hunting day in our office! It was a struggle going my way ttlhere though.

I intended to come in at 12nn since my shift has already changed. I walked through the heat of the sun from my unit to where I parked. Then, I found out that my car's bumber has fallen!!!

Styuuupid me, I parked wrongly the other night having that parking guide bar in between my two front wheels and under my engine. When I reversed my car, I heard that the bar had ruined my bumper =.='

I left the car in the park and had my driver pick it up for fixing. Meanwhile, I was lucky enough to found a cab that time, but unlucky as well as the cab's aircon was like a heater!!! Plus, it's traffic! It really steamed my day. It's also the first day of my new role and good luck to me >.<

Whacky Wednesday...

Really tiring day.. Well at least I can blog through my nokia e63 now. Thanks to smart bro for the prompt installation in our house. I installed the wifi router myself and I don't have to open my pc to blog. I jus type in the qwerty keyboard on my e63 and use the imap gmail I configured and send it to blogger's post-by-mail system.

Talk about convenience!

Anyway, I had the busiest day of my life coz it's the 2nd day of my migration. gtg!

Manic Monday

After the holidays, it was just impossible to be enthusiastic about work. Let alone me being surprised by the news that my new role would immediately start tomorrow and not at the end of the month. My workshift will change tomorrow from a 9am-6pm to a 12nn-9pm.

Night shift has an advantage to me too... :) By this I could get to avoid rush hour.

Our special group was planning some Easter Egg hunt game for the children of the employees tomorrow. My role is to list all the registrants. I wouldn't be able to facilitate the game tomorrow though because I would be in a call...

Easter Sunday!

It’s a feast because we are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ!  The fasting ends this day as well as we can now eat pork and meat all we want!

 

The day started with me sleeping… yes, I  had all the Zzzs in my room as me and my sister Snow shared a room in where we live now.  I was dreaming a fancy lovely dream (I actually forgot what but I knew it was a fairy tale because I was upset when mom woke me up!).  I heard her knock and call out to us that we are going to mass at around 8:30… Time check by this time is 8:10

 

So I just washed my face, had a half bath and brushed my teeth!  I changed  then off we go!

 

It was a bit awkward for me.  My aunts and tito was there in the church and I haven’t been seeing them for such a while.  I don’t feel hangin out at their place so as much as possible, i avoid the confrontation…  Don’t get me wrong… I love them, it’s just that I am just a dry person when it comes to them.

 

 

After mass we went to Metroclub at the Rockwell area.  The priest joined us for brunch.  He almost always goes with us.  He is pretty much considered a part of our family already.

My aunts had the itch to buy some stuff at 168 so we went directly there after we ate.  I really did not want to go there you know how I hate to travel there and buy stuff there because the area is just so narrow.  The only reason I would go there is probably to buy some Dibidis XD… and that’s exactly what I did! 

 

I was home alone after that because mom had to work out on something at the office.  I wanted to have a massage somewhere because my back was aching again.  Remind me to give a bigger percent on the criteria of comfortness and interior if I would buy a car!  The Nissan Urvan did not have the most comfortable seats and the short travel from Mandaluyong to 168 was just as hell as it could get!

 

So, I statyed at home, at pleasured myself with my recent purchase Gossip Girl!

Never a Black Saturday

This was the day I was looking forward to since for all the holy days, this day was planned… No specific plan but I wished to see my rockstar.

A little around after lunch I headed to Krispy Kreme on Bonifacio High Street. I know my rockstar souljaboy is still sleeping soundly and taking all the ZZzzzs he could get to make up for his OT nightshifts during the Holy Days.

I was happy to eat my original glazed Donuts and Cafe Kreme Original Chiller with Coffee!!! I don’t really know whats with Kreme but I am just addicted to it… Kafe Kreme hot coffee for the cold days and the Chiller for the sunny hot ones.

I think the workers in Krispy Kreme High Street know me already or probably at least recognize my face because I’m always hanging out “alone” in this place. What’s good about this place is because I frequently bump into some people I know :)

5pm and me and my rockstar went to Greenbelt 3 to watch the awesome fast and the furious 4!

Maundy Thursday

Just chilled at home… Be a couch potato and a mouse potato AND a ShoutPotato at the same time… Did I mention that I was playing brute all the time? XD

In the morning though, at around 10 am I still went to the office to read some office email and checked out our supplies order. It is not an OT… I was just too nervous about the week to follow because I will be expecting to work at the peak of my tasks and to top that I will be doing something new! Plus, I have to manage doing all the admin stuff that is assigned to me thank you very much! So I was there at least to finalize our supplies order, did some email replies, tested some stuff and hopefully I should be good to go next week!

One thing I love about Holy Week Holidays is that the roads are super clear. It’s a holy day after all and with respect to that, no rock or sexy R&B in my playlist for a while. And so I played some soul music for a while… The kind of type that just makes you chill. Included in feel-good playlist are the following:

I was still thinking of taking advantage of the clear roads and just drive to nowhere playing those soulful music.  It was kind of a good day to meditate and to just think… or just probably stop thinking at all and just relax and do nothing but drive and then stop over to some relaxing place…

So I was asking people around… apparently some would want to go with me, some had plans but when I got responses though the sun is on its way down…

So this day, I just did a marathon on the Season 4 of House M.D.

Why are we so cruel

I am really dissapointed with this when I read it here.

MANILA, Philippines - Fishermen in the Philippines accidentally caught and later ate a megamouth shark, one of the rarest fishes in the world with only 40 others recorded to have been encountered, the World Wildlife Fund said Tuesday.

The 1,100-pound, 13-foot-long megamouth died while struggling in the fishermen's net on March 30 off Burias island in the central Philippines. It was taken to nearby Donsol in Sorsogon province, where it was butchered and eaten, said Gregg Yan, spokesman for WWF-Philippines.

Yan said WWF Donsol Project Manager Elson Aca took pictures of the megamouth and tried to dissuade the fishermen from eating it. Shark meat is the main ingredient in a local delicacy.

Can we be a little bit more sensitive people??? The candy cries in desparation... I feel hurt when these news come out... tsk tsk tsk...

What have I done?

Today is just tiring... It's a long weekend.. sunday... and tomorrow I have no work... The only agenda for tomorrow is some movie time with some of my blogger friends that I long didn't see.

I missed my rockstar... I was hoping I could watch Formula 1 Malaysia Grand prix with him beside me. But I think he also needs to recharge for another hectic week for him.

I too need to recharge coz our peak is coming... but ,,, here I am updating my blogs, organizing files and editing pictures. I want to make the most out of this.. my adsense is not earning much lol, and i'm trying to be in the game.

In the meantime... I attempted to swim and do several laps but there were just too many people in the pool. Kids specially, since school's over and summer's up for these folks.

Jenson Button wins again consecutively, then my kimi raikkonen got the wrong strategy for using wet wheels on a dry circuit. Wah... I am still hoping for ferarri and kimi... though I have nothing against Button as well (I just don't want Hamilton to win). Kimi was so cute btw, while they waited for FIA's decision whether to continue the race or suspend it (coz it was raining like crazy), he was just chillin by the pitstop eating ice cream ^_^ <3 **heart** he's just adorable
