...in Tin Shui Wai Hong Kong. Riding trains and walking around rural areas of a country is something that I love doing. It's a place in Hong Kong where tourists don't visit a lot. We were on our way to exploring the Hong Kong Wetlands. They have a pathwalk around the swamp area where you can see mangroves and other wildlife animals :)

Meg Face Search - the Next Cover Girl

The search for the next IT girl is almost over, as The Next Cover Girl: MEG Face Search 8th Edition presented it’s final ten last December 3, 2010. Hundreds of contestants battled it out in a beauty face off and Meg magazine picked only the most gorgeous girls for the final round.

The final ten were revealed in Amber Ultra Lounge at Fort Bonifacio. The lucky finalists are Bea Lozano, Christia Asistio, Danna Bernardino, Debra Victa, Madge Reyes, Margo Midwinter, Maya Cabanuag, Monique Dimanlig, Phoebe Rutaquio and Yumi Arima. After the reveal, the top ten will be styled and photographed in fabulous fashion by the MEG team.

The next cover girl will be partnered with a popular male artist on Meg’s March 2011 issue.

The Project Headshot Clinic for 3 years has given a different look at profile pictures online, it became online billboards on online social networking sites, and everyone in it, as instant endorser of whatever that is being advertised, commercial or a particular advocacy.

For 3 years the team partnered with UNAIDS in fighting HIV/AIDS. The first awareness campaign of headshot clinic and UNAIDS was called “AWARE” in 2008, and then “MOVE” in 2009 a follow up of the first one which aimed to move people to act on this specific issue, and this year “ACT” a call to action, where voluntary HIV screening and counseling will be provided on given shooting dates by Take The Test and ASP (AIDS Society Philippines).

All headshots will be released online and should be used as primary profile pic on all the participant’s social network sites on December 1, 2010 which happens to be WORLD AIDS DAY.
