People never learn.

Another calamity has struck the Philippines.  Two big typhoons brought onslaught to different provinces affected by the storm.  People never learn from what happened in Ondoy last year.

Just almost exactly one year after Ondoy (one of the biggest flooding disaster in the Philippines), another powerful typhoon struck the the Metro and the neighboring provinces especially up North of Luzon.  PAGASA, the national weather authority by the government warned everyone of this big typhoon, yet no one is prepared.

You cannot control everything that happens to your life.  Accidents happen, fortuitous events come to visit and many other things you can't predict.

One way to protect yourself and put a safety leverage on the unknown is to provide for yourself some insurance.  People shy away from the word "Insurance".  I guess it's the stigma that is attached with it.  Insurance companies call you non-stop to offer their deals and benefits.  But technically, I think people just got it wrong.

Smart people know how to protect themselves.  And insurance is one of the investments that are mostly overlooked.

Insurance is a "necessary expense." Wether it be for your health, you car, your business or life itself.  You will get protected when an unfortunate, uncontrollable event comes.

You can check out cheap insurance quotes on your local insurance companies or check out online outlets.  Minimize risk, put leverage to the unknown.

Think about it and be prepared.
