I was listening to the New Moon audiobook and found out that there is a "Paris" guy in Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet. I seriously and honestly haven't read "Romeo and Juliet" yet (don't laugh). I watched the movie though.
I just loved how Stephenie Meyer wrote about that allegory/metaphor there about that Paris guy...

I just remembered his look when I entered the room... he litteraly looked "paused" and "stunned" as he was about to put in some food on his mouth... It was like slow-motion... and I could see the excitement in his eyes when he saw me...
