Blog-o-Rama feature in Manila Bulletin

OMGee you guys!  FlairCandy blog has been featured on Manila Bulletin’s Blog-O-Rama by Annalyn Jusay :)
*tears of joy*

I was so excited when I received a note of invite from Annalyn to be featured in Manila Bulletin!  Never in my life would I have imagined as a child that I would appear in newspapers!!!  The very first time I saw my name on a newspaper was when I passed my CPA Board Examinations WOOOHOO!!!.
I thought it would end there… To my surprise, Vince also mentioned me last week on his first article for another newspaper.

This time, Me, Myself and my Blog - GOT FEATURED!!! Wee!

I’m sorry if I’m super hyper while writing this post but I am just so happy to get featured on one of the most popular newspapers in the Philippines.  :D  This is really a big deal and this I share to you all. :)
The article got published last Monday.  I was out of town so I asked my mom to buy a copy for me.  When I got home, I called her and said that I would need her to take a photo of it and send it over to me through email.  Good news is, people in our office made a big buzz about it :P Bad news is, the newspaper got lost somewhere… T___T
It was only on the next day (Tuesday) where I finally got a hold of my own copy of the newspaper.  Thanks to Kacy for giving us a tip about back issues of magazines.  Here’s the tip – National Book Store sells back issues of the newspaper for at least one day back.

Here you go, newspaper feature immortalized :D

How to Empty Transport Box in Pokemon Bank

Everyone in the US is now enjoying Pokemon Bank that was just released today, February 6, 2014. Pokemon fans who are now trying their way around the Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transfer seem to have this common question, "how to empty transport box pokemon bank". Simple, after transferring your Pokemon on the Pokemon Transporter from Black/White or Black 2/White 2, exit the application and go to Pokemon Bank. Then move your curser up and it showing the box on the left and you will see the Transport Box .  Select all Pokemon in the box by using the green cursor (click select until cursor turns green). Then, move this to desires box.  In doing this, you can transfer more Pokemon from Black/White and Black 2/White2 to the transporter box! Notice, you can only use one box (Box 1) in the Pokemon Transporter. Happy transferring your Pokemon!

Does My Feet Expand?

Back in my corporate days, I never had problems with closed shoes. I grew up wearing closed shoes. My college days in La Salle made us wear uniforms, therefore, corporate shoes. And back in the bank where I used to work, I had to wear closed shoes in heels - all the time! I loved heels and I could bare to walk with them the whole day. It's been a while since I've been freelancing and working at home. I never get to wear closed shoes anymore, and when I do - my feet hurts big time! So, I have a theory! My feet keeps on expanding because it is not enclosed, it just keeps growing at all angles, therefore, when I wear shoes lately, my feet (especially my pinky toes) hurt! I am not sure if this is true or not so I did some research. I'm not sure if some of my sources are legit. I just wanted to read more about it. According to Ask.com : Foot swelling is characterised by a build-up of fluid in your foot. Swelling of the foot may be caused by being overweight, bl...
