Flair Getaways: Pico de Loro Cove by Hamilo Coast

I've always asked my friends "Where is the nearest beach from Manila that's clean and nice?"  They would always say Batangas or Zambales - both takes about roughly 3 hours.  But recently I heard there's a (soon 1.5 hrs drive) highway recently developed for easy driving from Manila to Nasugbu, Batangas.  I'm not sure if the highway is done yet, but you can also drive to Pico de Loro via Tagaytay (2.5 hrs)  Perfect!  Now I'm happy to know that if I need to go to a beach somewhere, I can just drive 1.5 hrs to this great place called Pico de Loro.  I didn't expect much when I heard about it.  I thought it was just going to be a typical beach resort.  But I was so amazed at what I saw, to the point that I want to buy one of the units and just live there (since I work from home anyway).

Pico de Loro Cove is the first urban living community developments of Hamilo Coast.  The community brings together families and friends who love living the good life with a scene of green and blue.  Pico de Loro Cove is situated in Batangas and brings you the view of the untouched mountains and serene seas.

Me and Matt, together Rica and Jo spent a lovely getaway at this marvelous place.  At the end of our trip, me and Matt wanted to become members :P

 

Pico Sands Hotel

For now, all areas can be accessed by guests as long as you are endorsed by a member :)  However, if you want to experience the greatness of the place without being endorsed, you can do so by booking for a stay at the Pico Sands Hotel.  This gives you access to the main beach and the Pico de Loro Country club which is just beside the hotel.

Pico Sands Hotel has 154 rooms with all the thoughtful amenities that ensured our comfort.  Just a couple of minutes' walk and we can have access to the Pico de Loro Beach Club were they have badminton, basketball, bowling, billards, karaoke etc.  There's also a shuttle to take us to the beach front for some relaxation time.  Guests can also inquire and try their water activities.  Or, if you're like me, just relax by the beach with a shake, music or a book.

You are never going to get bored here!  Bring your friends and family with you for more fun because you will never run out of activities for everyone!

Pico de Loro Beach Club and Water Activities

Explore the sun and the seas! The beach has the view of the South China sea and you have different areas / coves you can come to visit.  If you just want to stay and chill at the main beach, that's also fine.

Pico de Loro Residences

This holds true, I've been wishing to live in this area the moment I've explored the place.  I work from home anyway so as long as internet is stable here (which pretty much is), I'm good to go! We went around the different properties and sample units.

You can chose between the lake view and mountain view.

Either way, living here means you get to experience living with nature comfortably and the city is just a couple of hours away!

You don't need to bring anything much because the restaurants have pretty much everything you crave for.

The road to Nasugbu is very good :)

and our road trip ended there, but is forever in my memory.
