Smart now offers iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display

December 16, 2013, I attended Smart's launch as they announced that iPad Air with Wi-Fi + Cellular and iPad mini with Retina display with Wi-Fi + Cellular are now available in the Philippines.

They had a mini-game. "Mini" coz they were looking for mini things, and I happened to have my mini comb with me :)

Lucky

These new iPads are being offered with a range of attractive data plans that allow customers to connect to its LTE network with speeds up to 42 Mbps.

The iPad Air has 9.7-inch display in a thinner and lighter design. This is perfect for people who want a portable devise with a big screen and yet carry it light. The new iPads feature the powerful and power-efficient Apple-designed A7 chip with 64-bit desktop-class architecture, ultrafast wireless with faster built-in WiFi and expanded LTE cellular connectivity.

Smart's iPad plans

Smart makes an effort to make these plans affordable for everyone. You can now drop by any Smart Store, or register online, to avail of these new iPad plans.

For both iPads, you cag get it on a P1499 (16GB) and P1699 (32GB) plans. Both come with 65 hours of LTE internet surfing every month and an Anti-Bill Shock Guarantee  that ensures subscribers that they wouldn't have to worry about excessive data charges.

Subscribers need to only pay a one-time fee of P1000 for the iPad mini with Retina display and P5,000 for the iPad Air.

LTE

Smart continues to expand LTE and HSPA+ networks across the whole country. It now includes all cities in Metro Manila. Using Wi-Fi networks is fine, but it's more liberating to be independent of it. Smart offers affordable rates so you can be connected on the go.

Pokemon fans who are now trying their way around the Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transfer seem to have this common question, "how to empty transport box pokemon bank". Simple, after transferring your Pokemon on the Pokemon Transporter from Black/White or Black 2/White 2, exit the application and go to Pokemon Bank. Then move your curser up and it showing the box on the left and you will see the Transport Box .  Select all Pokemon in the box by using the green cursor (click select until cursor turns green). Then, move this to desires box.  In doing this, you can transfer more Pokemon from Black/White and Black 2/White2 to the transporter box! Notice, you can only use one box (Box 1) in the Pokemon Transporter. Happy transferring your Pokemon!

Does My Feet Expand?

Back in my corporate days, I never had problems with closed shoes. I grew up wearing closed shoes. My college days in La Salle made us wear uniforms, therefore, corporate shoes. And back in the bank where I used to work, I had to wear closed shoes in heels - all the time! I loved heels and I could bare to walk with them the whole day. It's been a while since I've been freelancing and working at home. I never get to wear closed shoes anymore, and when I do - my feet hurts big time! So, I have a theory! My feet keeps on expanding because it is not enclosed, it just keeps growing at all angles, therefore, when I wear shoes lately, my feet (especially my pinky toes) hurt! I am not sure if this is true or not so I did some research. I'm not sure if some of my sources are legit. I just wanted to read more about it. According to Ask.com : Foot swelling is characterised by a build-up of fluid in your foot. Swelling of the foot may be caused by being overweight, bl...
