It is actually my first time to go to Davao that's why I'm super excited! I've heard so much about the food, the people and the places in Davao.This weekend, I'm excited to be a part of Davao's annual festival "Araw ng Dabaw", and to attend the Liberalia Neon glow party!

An epic festival experience awaits Araw ng Davao revelers this weekend as Smart Live All Out puts together the biggest and coolest parties in the “crown jewel of Mindanao” with exclusive perks, freebies and discounts for prepaid subscribers.


I am so excited for the Smart Prepaid Live All out activities especially the Liberalia party! It's an open-field, glow-in-the-dark party co-organizedwith Manic Nightings Productions.  Different DJs will be at the Corcodile Park concert grounds on March 15 from 3pm until dawn.

Perks of being a Smart Prepaid subscriber

1. Free ticket and glow party kits for every P300 worth of Smart load

Smart prepaid subscribers topping up P300 worth of load with different designated agents all over Davao city gets the following:

- free general admission ticket

- Smart Live All Out kit (with glow sticks, waterproof phone holder, tank top)

Non-Smart subscribers can also get these by buying Smart Prepaid SIM and top up P300 worth of load.

If you want more, you can also enjoy a 20 percent discount on a VIP ticket for all Smart subscribers at the venue. This is inclusive of unlimited Bacardi drinks!


2. Free transportation, wifi and charging for Smart Prepaid subscribers

Smart Prepaid arranged free rides to and from venue from 3pm to 12 midnight. The shuttles are stationed at back parking areas of SM Lanang and Abreeza mall, van terminal at Gaisano mall, and at the entrance of NCCC mall

Subscribers also have free access to wifi and charging stations at the Smart tent on the concert grounds, so they can stay connected online, ready to upload snapshots of their great time with friends and loved ones.

Aside from Liberalia, Smart Prepaid Live All Out also presents the Araw ng Dabaw Step Up Street Party at Starr Restobar on Obrero street, featuring DJ Ingo Vogelmann, DJ Coke and STARR resident DJs James and Patrick on March 15 from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.

3. Discounts, perks in key establishments from March 14 to 16

Special discounts and perks also await Smart Prepaid subscribers from March 14 to 16 every time they top up P100 worth of load in key establishments such as the Magsaysay Durian Park (get P100 off on durian purchase); LGU Pasalubong Center (get P100 off on pasalubong items); Penongs – Quirino branch (free one Pares meal); Aling Fopings Halo-Halo (free one halo-halo with ice cream); and Coffee Cat (free one coffee or dessert).

Those who top up P50 worth of Smart load at Bakbak Grill and Restaurant also get a free beer, while those who load up P100 at MTS Taboan are entitled to two bottles of beer.

Does My Feet Expand?

Back in my corporate days, I never had problems with closed shoes. I grew up wearing closed shoes. My college days in La Salle made us wear uniforms, therefore, corporate shoes. And back in the bank where I used to work, I had to wear closed shoes in heels - all the time! I loved heels and I could bare to walk with them the whole day. It's been a while since I've been freelancing and working at home. I never get to wear closed shoes anymore, and when I do - my feet hurts big time! So, I have a theory! My feet keeps on expanding because it is not enclosed, it just keeps growing at all angles, therefore, when I wear shoes lately, my feet (especially my pinky toes) hurt! I am not sure if this is true or not so I did some research. I'm not sure if some of my sources are legit. I just wanted to read more about it.
