Y-Loft Hotel in Chai Wan Hong Kong

Finding the best hotel for you in Hong Kong could be a little bit tricky. It's a very busy city full of tourists all year-round, hotels can be found left and right. We booked via Agoda.com and it was simply a breeze. I could filter and sort the hotels according to location and my budget. In the end, we decided to stay at Y-Loft Hotel.

Y-Loft hotel is in Chai Wan area. It is at the last station of the Central line.

It is conveniently situated near MRT station, malls and restaurants, clean room spacious for the usual Hostel rooms in HK. Separate toilet and shower which is rare for Hostel type accommodation.

Awesome! No problem with anything. Enjoyed the facilities, clean and spacious rooms. Though a bit far from central, it is still conveniently connected to chai wan station. I would book here again and recommend this to my friends and readers!

Book early and you get to chance upon Agoda discounted rates. Even at peak season, we were able to book at around Php 3000+ per night.

Budget: USD 78.75 to USD 110 per night (depending if peak season or not)
Free Cancellation: Yes for some rooms via Agoda.
Pay Later Option: Yes
Area: Chai Wan, Hong Kong
Current rating: 7.9/10
My Rating: 9.3/10
Nearest MRT station: Chai Wan (Central Line), 3 minutes walk from the hotel

This is the Youth Square, a compound full of facilities - including Y-Loft.

My roommates CD and Duds!

One of their dining areas that have comfy and stylish tables, microwave ovens, all surrounded by a fun interior. Look far back and you will see their fitness center.

Y-Loft Fitness Centre is open from 8am to 10pm

They also have a sky track which is conveniently located on the roof top!

The Oasis, found on the top floor where you can have space to maybe do yoga, pilates, tai chi etc. or even have a picnic!

They also have a Laundry area open from 8am - 10pm! How convenient is this?

The Youth Center is really spacous, you can walk around and see the view from the glass hallways.

One happy traveler!

WordCamp Philippines - a WordCandy experience

Those who have known me for a long time would vouch for my craziness. They say I’m a dare-devil. Seeking for new things at a rate of speed of light! But cherishing still the old things I love to do.   What indulgence did I do this time?   Nope, I didn’t pose for FHM or Playboy Philippines…       Nope, I didn’t try skinny dipping yet…     Nope, I’ve never eaten fire yet…   And I definitely didn’t join the Circus!       Now what did I do this time?     I have just attended this amazing boot camp-ish kinda thing called WordCamp! It has been held in many countries and now, it’s the Philippines’ turn!       [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="with Matt Mullenweg - founder/creator of WordPress"] [/caption]       WordPress has been a leading blogging platform for bloggers all over the world and has a large number of users here in the Philippines as well...
