Calamities like this bring people together.  Strangers help each other, families stay  together, and some people like me get to pause and ponder about life.   We realize a lot of things like "life is short."  It makes us realize what we really want in life.  Are we doing it currently? Or are we headed in that direction, or otherwise?  As for me I'm happy where I am.  This is where I want to be.  For now at least.  My life is simple.  I'm happy to know that I have de-cluttered my life.  I've  filtered my life to do the things that I only love to do.  I'm with people who matter and I'm doing the things that matter in my life.   Meanwhile, there are a lot of people who got affected with flood. It's never a good thing to lose your homes but I'm happy for those people who have survived this calamity.  Remember that the material things that were lost because of this calamity can always be replaced.  It can be difficult to rebuild what has been destroyed.

I first saw this new attention-grabbing restaurant at the Fort Strip a month ago.  It looked really intimidating and big.  I passed by 5th avenue and thought "ooh!  There's a new restaurant!  Looks intimidating, I'm not gonna eat there."  I was wrong.  I tried it just this week and I can only blurt out two words "food coma"!!! Me and Matt have been watching Channel M recently because of Master Chef - Korea.  My love for K-pop culture got a bit revived when we watched Saturday Night Live Korea.  I was just reminded of how funny I find their humor to be.  My favorite sitcom before was "Non-stop." Anyway, it is with this reason that we were craving for Korean food.  Hence, we found our mighty tummies in this place K-Pub BBQ! You need to know only 1 thing when you dine in this place - EAT and RUN! So, you can choose from a few options, but we choose to get the P499 for 1 hr - unlimited meat!!! It comes with the usual Korean appetizers

The trailer was a little bit cheesy for me so I really didn't expect a lot from this movie.  However, my feelings while watching this was very similar to when I watched Breaking Bad - unexpected, fun, intense and a whole lot of WTFs and "hahaha's" I like this picture :)  I don't want to spoil anything so let me just say, it's worth watching!  Worth your time and money.  I enjoyed the movie A LOT!!!  Not a dull or draggy moment.  It's either I laugh, crunch (at the gory violencce), "awww", or cry. Unexpected things... and really funny script!  I'm not sure if it was the powers of the movie script writer(s) or just the humor of the comics itself.  One thing I appreciate, they stick to the "real life" part.   P.S.  Thank you Matt for taking me out to see this movie :) *This post was created using Blogger app for iPad mini powered by #SmartLTE

I've been following Pokemon XY news since they announced it and I am just so excited that there are more features and really cool graphics that's about to go with it. I'm a die-hard pokemon fan and here are some new news. There is a special distribution event coming on October 12, 2013 when they will officially release the Pokemon XY worldwide. This special distribution event will give trainers an immediate start on the game with a Powerful Pokemon - Torchic. I have no idea yet how they are just going to give this Pokemon but they say as long as you connect to the nintendo WFC you will get it. They will also be introducing "Mega Evolutions" that will happen only during battle and only when the Pokemon is holding a Mega Stone.
