Taal Vista Hotel: Flair Weekend Getaways (Day 2)

I usually hate waking up early because I just had to (work, errands etc).  One exception is waking up a wee bit early to experience Tagaytay sunrise! When you're staying in Taal Vista Hotel, don't waste that moment and experience a beautiful sunrise - especially when you have that balcony view.  And then, eat their scrumptious breakfast buffet, and enjoy the view some more :)  Or not... because sleeping in their comfortable beds is just quite something on its own :)

We woke up early to greet a beautiful morning!  Great weather in Tagaytay.  Lucky!

Huge hallway of the different Ballrooms

Their Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000 guests

The lovely pool by the mountain wing side.

This great weather made me able to take this clear photo of the lake.

The structure on the left is a conference / events area by day and a club at night!

This place is perfect if you want an outdoor setting for a party and don't want to be bothered by any probable rain.

Weekend market!

Game room!

No excuse not to get fit while on vacation.

Kids can have their fun too!

Herbs for sale that are part of the weekend market!

The wide open space for everyone to enjoy!

Majestic. Beautiful.

Couple pic.  Dressed quite comfortably because we were headed to the beach after this!

With the Taal Vista and SM team :)

The history wall.  Learned so much about Tagaytay and the history of Taal Vista Hotel.

We went around and I just notice the tiniest pretty details!

Finally, we arrive at the private garden of Taal Vista Hotel

Chef Edwin explains the different crops they plant on this land.

Most of these herbs are being used in Taal Vista's Kitchen.

Organic... Only natural fertilizers, that's why growing it is a bit slower.

But, organic is good!  No harmful chemicals ;)

Cherry tomatoes!!! They look delicious!  I want to grill some and eat wth cielo kebab or something :P

Final group pic with Taal Vista Hotel team.

WordCamp Philippines - a WordCandy experience

Those who have known me for a long time would vouch for my craziness. They say I’m a dare-devil. Seeking for new things at a rate of speed of light! But cherishing still the old things I love to do.   What indulgence did I do this time?   Nope, I didn’t pose for FHM or Playboy Philippines…       Nope, I didn’t try skinny dipping yet…     Nope, I’ve never eaten fire yet…   And I definitely didn’t join the Circus!       Now what did I do this time?     I have just attended this amazing boot camp-ish kinda thing called WordCamp! It has been held in many countries and now, it’s the Philippines’ turn!       [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="with Matt Mullenweg - founder/creator of WordPress"] [/caption]       WordPress has been a leading blogging platform for bloggers all over the world and has a large number of users here in the Philippines as well... I just migrated to Wordpress from blogger didn't I??? And I didn't re...
